Winemaker: Nicola Biasi
Appellation: Friuli, Italy
Grape Varieties: Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc
Eighteen hectares of vineyards along the side of Mount Quarin; an area that is particularly suited to grape-growing, where the characteristic flysch of the Collio region encounters the first gravels of Friuli’s plains.
An encounter that is expressed in the sensory profile of the local wines.
Fragrance and liveliness meet with and in the structure and essence.
Grapes are destemmed and transferred to stainless steel vats,
followed by 15-days fermentation on skins at 24°C.
Contact on skins lasted 90 days at an average temperature of 18°C.
During maceration malolactic fermentation naturally occurs.
