Winemaker: Sylvere Trichard

Appellation: Beaujolais, France

Grape Varietals: Gamay

Beaujolais red wines are made from the Gamay grape, and they are some of the most comforting wines in the world.  There is no pretension here.  Delicious, juicy, crunchy, lovable, and familiar.  If you miss hugging people, crack into one of these bad bois.  It's like a liquid hug.

-Carlospicante

The wines made by Sylvere embody the reason why Beaujolais has become one of the most exciting wine regions in France!  This is a wine that can be drunk immediately, but could also be kept in the wine cellar for a year or two.  With its smooth character and easy drinkability, this is the perfect wine to share with friends.  Due to a vein of granite that passes underneath this plot of vines, there is mineral finish to the vine that gives it a character that is more reminiscent of the grand cru wines of Beaujolais.

In recent years, the Beaujolais has become one of the most exciting wine producing regions in France. Many talented winemakers, Sylvère included, are rebuilding the reputation that had been tarnished by the mass produced Beaujolais Nouveaus which are shipped around the world in November. Due to a diverse terroir, it is incredible how the Gamay grape can taste totally different from one excellent producer to the next!

Beaujolais wines of this quality, finesse, and structure can rarely be found outside of France. Sylvère's wines- red, white, and rose- are quickly becoming amongst the most talked about Beaujolais wines in Paris' natural wine bar scene. We consider ourselves very fortunate and privileged to bring his exceptional wines to you.
